Chosen Solution I replaced my MacBook using the ifixit guide for my MacBook Early 2015 Retina display 13" and it has been running extremely slow ever since. I checked the activity monitor and “kernel_task” is taking about 300% cpu to run. Also occasionally the fan will run extremely loudly.
