Joey De belen before just going to replace the boards you want to try a bit more troubleshooting. 6 red blinks is a backlight issue. this could be cause by either a bad main board, a power board or bad inverter boards. Try to check the standby voltage on the power board. “backlight on” should be 3-5 Volt from the main logic board and 24V to the inverter....

Chosen Solution I was using the laptop and it suddenly died without warning. I cannot get it started again. It was plugged in and re-charging This happened to me as well. I had to replace the motherboard. No idea why or what happened. It was plugged in charging with the lid closed and then it would not come back. This sounds like an overheating problem. Chosen Solution My n64 plays some games just as they should, while some have a couple of levels that are too dark to play. Three games that come to find are 007 Goldeneye, Gauntlet (based off an arcade game), and Supersmash Brothers. A friend has copies of all three games that works fine on their n64 system, but my copies of these games on my console have darkness problems on a few levels, preventing the game from being playable....
