Chosen Solution So I can use up on all my controllers in the 2nd controller slot so I know the controllers are fine. But whatever controller is in the first slot doesn’t allow me to press up. I’m guessing there’s something wrong with the connectors so I’m just wondering if I should just replace the whole thing or if there’s an individual pin I could fix. I am not an expert on controller ports but if it is not letting you do certain tasks with your controller, it could be dirty....

Hook up the old screen and see what it does. If it turns on and works just fine, you may have an issue with the replacement parts. Chosen Solution I could be typing a message and my phone will randomly start exiting out of apps as if I were constantly pressing the back button.
