Help! @tffnyvq Horizontal lines are almost exclusively caused by a bad panel (Failed gate drivers) whereas vertical lines can be a TAB error as well as bad wiring. We would have to see what those lines look like to give you a more definite answer....

Chosen Solution I have an HP Envy 17t that is a few months over a year old and the problems that it has started a few months after and Hp customer support is no help, the main issue is that it will be completely shut down and it will overheat to the point of burning my hand. I have tried everything that I know to try and find the issue to the extent of making it a brick with no software on it, then reuploading it....
Chosen Solution My cursor will not flash. When I hold the 2nd function button it will flash but no other keys will work. This could either be a software error or hardware error. If it’s a software error, try to perform a RAM reset by removing the batteries (including the backup battery) then reinserting them. If that doesn’t help, try to reinstall the OS. This is more complicated so I’ll refer you to a video tutorial here....
Chosen Solution I’ve got my old iPhone 5c with a black display, no vibrations and no speaker/earphone functionality. However, when I plug the phone into iTunes the phone appears as normal and allows me to sync with it etc. This issue persists despite a restore - the phone is cracked which would lead me to believe the LCD is broken however the fact the vibrator and sound doesn’t work when calling the phone or plugging in the charger leaves me to believe this is a more complex issue....

I let it go dead so it can cool down,but when I cut it back on sometimes it let u go to the setting because I tried to reset it and the apple sign will pop up then it will go back to blanking off Disassemble the phone and hook it up on the bench so you can feel the logic board....
Chosen Solution When I plug in the charger its not charging my tablet. if I jiggle it around some it works for a brief moment then cuts out. Maybe you should clean the charging ports. If that does not work your cord might have a short in the wire it self.

If you try to install an external sd card on your tablet is turned on, you will have to go to Settings / storage and mount it. Generally this is not recommended. Installing a formatted external sd card is the recommended method because the tablet will scan for memory when it powers up and automatically mount the external SD card....

It will shut down the device if threshold not met.
