Have you tested the power cable on another device. usually tablet power connectors are mini or micro USB so you can try another phone cable or USB power adaptor on your tablet also it might not have as much power but it will trickle charges If screen glitches and this only when power button is pressed would indicate low power Also check non of the USB or HDMI pins are touching on device as can cause tablet to also cut out Sometimes simple things cause complicated problems

They feel like they are not being fully compressed when I type and only occasionally will work if I push really hard on them. Chosen Solution My laptop runs very hot and keeps overheating. Some of the 17r4s came out with a bad thermal paste job. You probably need to repaste the cpu (and gpu).
