Chosen Solution My power button is not working but either way when I press the eject button it turns on.. what should I do? pls do reply on Xbox 360 system if the power is not on, pressing the eject button will turn it on so that the Xbox can go through the ejecting process. it probably means your power button is broken. as long as you don’t mind using the eject button…that is a workaround....

I have removed and put back the battery and still get the same. I have read jt in another forum it may be that the Clean button is shorted - hence why it is always as if it had been reset. So the regular image shows through, but it has weird lines of a lighter white vertical strip/ line all over the screen, it’s very noticeable on all grey or black screens.
