Chosen Solution I had my IMAC computer on but wasn’t actually using at the time. I reached over to get some papers on the desk to the left of the IMAC As my hand passed close to the bottom part of the monitor, I received an electric shock. I did not realise what it was at the time. It was only when I passed my hand over the same spot after having retrieved my papers I received another electric shock....
Chosen Solution I replaced the battery and display in my Pixel 2. Put everything back together, went great. Screen works. BUT. The screen keeps lifting up. I used brand new adhesive and made sure all the old adhesive was removed. Took it apart, re-set everything again with new adhesive, but it still keeps lifting up. It’s almost like either the battery itself is too thick, or the cable on the back of the new display is too thick?...

Ensure all leads are properly connected. Test your charger using a multimeter for the voltage given on the sticker on the charger. If you are getting the correct voltage, it maybe the DC jack which is a common fault on laptops....

Chosen Solution So i have this Asus Vivobook X540U it runs on Windows 10 I have been using this for three years i dont really know it just shuts down when im playing a game even tho its fully charged the fans are loud but the air coming from the vents are not even that hot even the keyboard is not that hot It may be a heat problem that you can’t feel…I got to say if you can feel the heat from the fans then that part is doing what it is supposed to be doing, if you can’t then it may be blocked....

Go into settings, battery, battery health, and tell us what it says in Maximum Capacity. If it’s below 85% or shows service battery, then you’ll need to get it replaced. Hi @ mitchell schmidt 21 You will have to open it up and and use an Ohmmeter to check the connections from the needle cartridge all the way through to the control board preamp input. If that is OK then the control board needs to be checked, initially for any obvious problems such as burnt out components, loose wiring or dry joint solder connections etc and then “live” testing may be necessary....
