Chosen Solution I replaced my battery the other day and now when I try to call anyone, I can only hear on speaker. And I discovered yesterday that I couldn’t use my front camera either. I’ve tried taking it apart and making sure that everything was put back into place properly and I wiped down the connectors with a qtip and nothing is working. (Im 18, my dad bought the kit for me to do it myself because he encourages ((a little too often with far too big tasks sometimes)) that we ((my siblings and I)) take charge and do stuff ourselves....

Chosen Solution My PlayStation hasn’t been working for 2 days. I tried to change the HDMI 3 times and checked the HDMI ports and nothing. On 4 different TVs I plug it into I see the the PlayStation logo and then a black screen. Any help on what I could do ? Chosen Solution My wipers recently went out on my Focus. I have checked voltage at the wiper motor and have DC coming in on all wires but the black/white. It’s either due to a bad wiper relay or the wiper/washer switch. I would like to check the relay before breaking into the steering column, but I cannot find it. The wires go into the distribution box, but I cannot find out where....

Chosen Solution tl;dr No matter what I do, I get a white screen on startup after the Apple logo. Resetting PRAM, PMU, Safe Mode, and booting from external drives all have the same result. I was doing a routine hard drive replacement. The original HDD was drastically slowing down and giving SMART errors, so I replaced it with a (somewhat smaller, but still big enough for all the data with room to spare) SDD....

Chosen Solution After replacing a Pixel 3a screen, the blacks in the image are appearing pixellated. I had the first screen RMA’d and got another one, but the new screen is having the same exact issue (see screenshot below). What might be causing this? I ordered two different screens from a vendor different than iFixit, each with the same problem. My friend brought it to a UBreakiFix, they swapped the screen, and the issue went away....

Please assist. @julzmatt Double check the voltage selector and see what it is set at. If it is okay then your amp may have a short circuit somewhere in the power line of the main board. You will have to disassemble it and see if you can visually identify components that look damaged or missing....

Chosen Solution I pulled out to turn from a red light and I kind of gave it some gas and the check engine light came on. Then, the car just started shaking, so I pulled over to a close gas station and sat a while with the car off. Then I tried to start, but it wouldn’t, so I tried again, and it started but only stayed on for a few seconds and started smoking and turned back off....

Chosen Solution I’ve cleaned out the dust in both fans and also apply new thermal past in the heat sink and my mid 2015 15” MacBook is still overheating much quicker than normal. I’m running Logic Pro X which uses a lot of the CPU when using plugins. In my case, I even try opening a new project with just a blank slate and not even pressing play or anything, and in about 15 minutes it starts overheating....

Chosen Solution If i have full service i still have trouble connecting to the internet or phone is just running slow. Hi, Some things to try to resolve the problem: i). Wipe the cache partition and check if it then works OK. ii). Try using the phone in safe mode and check. If it does then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to see if the phone works OK....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone from like 3ft off the ground, it fell on the back with a case on it. The phone still turns on but the screen is just back. I can use siri and i can still tap the screen but its just black. It sounds like it is your backlight. The backlight is just what produces the colors on your phone. Try reconnecting your screen to the phone....

Chosen Solution Even when not charging my iPads battery is extremely hot, I’ve gotten a new battery yet it still generates a lot of heat even when turned off. Is it because it is old? What should I do? @soapeater this"heat even when turned off" would mean that there is a short somewhere on the board that cause the battery to create this heat. Disconnect the battery and check the battery connector as well as the components around it....

Chosen Solution My computer works when the charger is plugged in but every time I disconnect the charger the laptop dies. If your computer dies after you remove the charger that indicates that your battery is faulty. Batteries have an expected lifetime and overtime they will lose their ability to hold a charge. You will need to keep your charger plugged in for the meantime to use your device but your battery will need to be replaced ....
