It could be a couple of things. The top needle could be dull after many usages and it is pushing down the pod before the needle penetrates the top seal which causes the bottom needle to go too far in the bottom and cut into the built in filter in the cup....

Chosen Solution So I have a samsung s9+ which has recently developed a problem connecting to 4G. It almost runs like its a stick shift waiting to shift gears You probably have a bad spark plug wire that’s leaking and arcing. The best way to verify this is the problem, is to while idling, spray the wires with water from a hose (light spray) or spray bottle. When you wet the wire that’s having issues, you may see the actual sparks coming off the wire, or the van will start running really rough until the water evaporates....
