The light to the on/off button turns on everytime I push it but it just never turns on. Chosen Solution Hi there , I have a MacBook Pro and I had plugged the charger in to charge it and I had unplugged the charger to plug in the Ethernet cable , As I have an L shaped power connector I needed to turn this around so that it would charge with the Ethernet cable inside the MacBook . After I connected the power cable once again I saw nothing , no sign of charge from the charger or from the MacBook itself , I unplugged the power cable and Ethernet cable to plug in the power cable the way I had it before and this way doesn’t work either , I see no signs of wear as in the cable being damaged or frayed at all the charger looks perfectly fine, After trying to change the fuse for the power cable and resetting the SMC on the laptop still nothing , after attempting all the possible solutions without getting a new charger I think I may have tried , because of this my charge on my MacBook is now dead so the MacBook doesn’t turn on and the battery indicator on the side flashes with one bar to show me that the battery is out of charge ....

Chosen Solution When i boot into recovery booting and try pressing “wipe data/factory reset” it gives me a warning on the bottom of the screen that says “MDM does not allow factory reset. phone will REBOOT automatically” and then it reboots and no changes occur. MDM solutions used by schools/companies and on Samsung demo devices can prevent factory resetting, so people can’t just reset devices and claim them as their own....

Restart your system with the external drive connected press and hold Option (⌥) key to get to the startup manager to select your external drive. If not you can also try to boot up under the recovery partition as well hold the Command (⌘) & R keys Reference Mac startup key combinations
