Just a thought, could you possibly be able to make your own cords up by removing the plugs and using new appropriate size/gage wire. The AC cord that plugs into the wall for sure can be made up easily from parts from hardware store or cutting the female end off medium gage extension cord and adding/crimping on required connector’s, the other I am not familiar, if you can take it with you to electric supply store to see what they have for replacement suggestion/parts....

However the Windows 7 machine stopped working so bought a new HP Windows 10 laptop and now it wont recognize the Brother printer. Cannot install the windows driver. Contacted Brother and they say the driver is a Windows one and it should be automatically loaded when laptop is connected to printer.
