Have tried replacing batteries. most likely an infrared sensor has broken/jammed, not making a connection to the remote, you’d have to take it apart and examine the infrared sensors in the remote/spider.

I was having several different issues, wash stopping at different points in the cycle and lid lock flashing. Capacitor-type humming and the spin cycle grinding or whine. Chosen Solution Whenever I try to play music or a video, my Nextbook will not play any sound. When playing a game I can adjust the volume settings, but no sound will come out. The speaker could be filled with dirt which could distort or block the sound entirely. Take the back cover off, remove the speaker, and blow on it. Before cleaning - The phone is in infinite reboot, it gets to the white Apple Logo for about 10 seconds or so and then turns off and repeat. After cleaning logic board - the phone does the same thing but now the screen is super dim. Like so dim that at first I thought I completely fried the phone....

Sometimes it just does its little sputtering fit and will engage. New belt, spindles, blades, and fuel filter. @stevenstickley make sure that you replace/clean the air filter and the spark plugs. A plugged air filter or faulty plugs can cause the engine to run rich....

Going by your 8 word description it is possible that this is a Mode Door Actuator issue. The mode door actuator is an electric motor. It mechanically positions the panel/bi-level door and the floor/defrost door. This actuator contains a potentiometer which allows the BCM (for both manual and ATC systems) to know the exact position of the mode doors at all times....
