Chosen Solution I have replaced my screen, metal back plate and home button. The phone works and the screen is able to display stuff however the touchscreen does not work. Am i missing something or would this indicate that I received a faulty screen? Make sure you have it plugged in right. And test you lcd and screen first so you know that your new one works before you put back together....
Chosen Solution Dell latitude E6400, 500 GB HD, 2 GB RAM, installed Linux Mint 20 xfce. When I start it up, it boots up the OS, runs the Welcome screen, and let’s me run whatever program I want. Then within a few minutes of startup, it totally freezes up, nothing responds. If I power it off (I have to pull the plug and momentarily disconnect the battery since the power button doesn’t respond either), then immediately power it back up and turn it on, it starts up and then freezes again at about the same time period....

Chosen Solution I am sorry I cannot add photos without my phone :^/ I dissembled the phone okay up to removing the existing battery adhesives. Which ripped and I could not get out safely with floss or prying with the card, so I used a topical syringe, max 10 ml. I applied 4 total ml in 2 phases, once, let dry, removed most of one strip, 2 more ml, successfully got the battery out....

Chosen Solution Hi! So the power button lights up but the screen is black. I plug the charger in but the battery light just blinks orange. Not sure if its the charging port,the charger or the laptop. Is it an easy fix? I would first measure the charger with a multimeter and see if you get the correct voltage. Then measure the amount of amps the laptop is drawing from the charger....
