Hi @shortcirket Try realigning the transmitter/receiver and check if that works in case the frequency has drifted due to aging of components. Unfortunately I can’t find the diagram for the main pcb to show the adjustment locations....

I bought some replacement sticks for my old controller seeing as how it kept drifting in games and it was just getting worse, so I decided to solder some new ones on ( not new to soldering) as this would be my second project, but first time soldering on a PCB, I thought this wouldn’t be too hard. Chosen Solution I recently took my xbox apart because of a sibling getting a disk stuck. apon fixing it the disc drive now makes a weird ding sound and refuses to take the disc in (not a normal ding you would hear from the xbox). It’s been working perfectly fine for a year, the only difference is that I recently got an external hard drive for it. Is there any special configuration that I need to do? Is the external HD the issue? If your hard drive is one uses the Wii U console as the main power source, it is very likely that it could be the cause for the random freezing....
