Chosen Solution I downloaded and installed High Sierra on a USB. Replaced my internal disk with the SSD. Booted from USB, formatted the internal disk and installed High Sierra on the disk. One is on the top of the mid frame the other is on the bottom. Stick a paper clip or pin in the hole just dont go in to far....
