I have taken apart my controller and found that there is an earth wire that has been broken off, where do I soulder this wire to as I have tried to earth it but when I go to another earth point on the controller the rumble strips/ vibrating pads go off until I take it off again… where should I earth this?? Chosen Solution Dropped phone in water yesterday. Dried it out in rice as recommended but torch will not go off….. It would be a good idea to disassemble and inspect the phone, I suspect that as the corrosion occurs you will have many more problems other than the torch. I would open the phone and clean the board with alcohol and maybe check the camera connections, since you are having issues with flash....

Chosen Solution When I turn on my N64 the gameplay is at normal speed without lag but the images aren’t sharp and the colors appear to be really bright. Sound is normal. Is there a problem with the audio/video cable or with the motherboard? There could be a problem with the video output, if you have a different audio/video wire, try it first.

Chosen Solution After following the guide on here to remove and replace motherboards, half of my screen, the right half, is light and dark grey horizontially lined. Both motherboards were working before I swapped them. How can I fix this? I’m guessing it is one of these reasons. you damaged the FPCB (Flexible printed circuit board) which is the cable on the LCD when you swapped MB’s. With an image i would be able to verify....

Chosen Solution This has been happening for a while (can’t remember when it started), but on my MBA 2017, one of the two USB ports won’t work, the one next to the MagSafe Connector. All USB cables/flash dives only go in half way, all but 1 flash drive goes in and connects. Other USB port is fine with all cables tried is OK … I’ve looked into the effected USB port to see if any dust in there, but I couldn’t see anything....
