I’m a Product Designer and currently I’m working on a project that includes embedding an Apple watch. Because of this I’m researching about the components and structure of the watch. I found most of the information, but I couldn’t figure out exactly where and how the button flex assembly is connecting to the rest of the watch. Thank you so much for making the teardown video and pictures, it’s very helpful and interesting.
If you look at these two pictures you can see the IFIXIT Teardown team had a hard time taking the watch apart as they ripped the cable connection off ;-{
