where is the cmos battery

Hi, Looking through the hardware and maintenance manual it doesn’t appear to have one. What are you trying to do by removing the CMOS battery? Have you tried using a paperclip and pressing the Novo button to get into the Recovery area or BIOS?

(click on image to enlarge for better viewing). If still no good, try disconnecting the main battery from the systemboard (see the manual - link above - you don’t have to remove it, just disconnect it), then press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds then release and then reconnect the main battery, close up the laptop and connect the charger, check if the laptop starts to charge, wait a minute or five then try turning on the laptop.
