Hello guys, Could you please tell me where is the Fuse of the Screen backlight on the mainboard ? The screen is working but there is a backlight problem. I believe the backlight problem was caused by my missed inserting of the backlight connector, and there will be no problem in the screen itself. I appreciate your answer.
Not sure if there’s a physical fuse for the backlight, are you getting voltage on connector pins? The ribbon cable insert is VERY fragile and can get eaten out by moisture. If you see voltage between 1-3 and 4-6 pin groups but backlight won’t come on it might be the ribbon problem. Fixed one by splitting the cable and soldering a wire to one part, looks terrible but kinda works. Btw it’s stacked not side by side so instead of cutting you’ll need to pile off one layer with a pin.
