Where Is The Ir Receiver On The New Mac Mini Mac Mini Mid 2011

The USB hardware configuration indicates that there is an IR Receiver on my new (Aug 2011) Mac mini, but I have no idea where it is. Does anybody know?

@Scott Prive - It’s surprisingly very visible. Here’s an image of the front:

The larger dark spot on the right front is the IR sensor and to the right the smaller one is the power LED.

We show you where the IR sensor is located in Step 16 of our teardown. It’s attached to a plastic bracket and is one of the last things to come out.
