Hello, I have an LX100 that was dropped and the lens assembly is broken and I’d like to replace it. Does anyone know where I could by a new lens assembly for this camera? Any information is greatly appreciated.

People sell lens units, or whole lx100s for parts on eBay .The units on there at the moment are described as new-refurbished (whatever that means)and they’re not cheap. They’re about £200 and about £35 postage from US to UK, so if you’re in the States you won’t get so stung for delivery .A very nice man called Philip at a Restart Project event in Kentish Town London walked me through disassembling mine following ifixit instructions…it’s a bit fiddly, but with care and concentration it’s achievable ….even putting the little creature back together again!
