I am trying to find a replacement glass digitizer for my Lenovo flex 4-1580. My lcd screen is totally fine, but the glass is cracked. I am having trouble finding one for this laptop, but I wasn’t sure if I could use, say, one for a surface pro, if it is a similar size. Any help or direction would be much appreciated!
Hi @juliawohlwend , You may be out of luck as the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop (see p.81 Item #3) only lists the complete display assembly(s) in the list of replacement parts. So it may be integrated with the LCD screen and not as a separate removable screen. Usually the part number of the display assembly is to be found on the back of the LCD unit so that you can verify which is the correct one for your particular model. Also here’s a link that should show the exact replacement assembly part number for your laptop. Just insert the full model number of the laptop to make sure that it is the correct page to get the part number. Then select LCD assemblies in Commodity Type for the LCD assembly and then search online using the part number only to get results for suppliers.
