Hi, I am in need of a new macbook pro battery. I have a mid 2010 Macbook pro 17" unibody ( 2.53ghz and model a1297)There is no battery listed for the 2010 and later models but there is one for the 2009. Is this battery able to be used in the newer versions?
Your machine should still be covered under warranty. Contact Apple for a free one. I cannot find a 2010, 17" Core2Duo machine. There are Core i5 & i7s.
