My USB port seems to be weak. It’s only charging if I hold the cable in a certain position. Cleaning the USB port didn’t help and I tried several different cables. Want to replace the USB port and I’m wondering what’s the difference of the “Charging assembly” and the “Headphone jack and USB assembly”?
In fact, they are the same thing. But USB port is different from the assembly. HTC One M8 charging assembly also called USB board is coming with USB port and headphone jack just like that. It’s much easier to replace the whole assembly if you need to repair. While replacing USB port only is a little difficult and complicated because it need to be soldered.
