Hello, my A1398 macbook screen is broken and needs to be replaced. Apple Ireland quoted 900 euro replacement cost. which is too expensive for a screen replacment! Anyway, I am good in DIY stuff, but I need your help picking the right part for my mac? I mean what exactly should I order to replace the broken screen? thank you in advanced :)
You need to search for the year and size. For example, “Macbook Pro 15” Mid 2014 screen assembly". You would look up that screen, and you would want the full display assembly, which is the top half of your laptop (LCD, case, cables etc).
