My machine cannot get high-speed internet, likely because of the wifi card it came with: Qualcomm QCA9565 802.11b/g/n, it only supports 2.4Ghz. I’d like to upgrade to a 802.11ac but I want to make sure I buy the right card. Any recommendations? Everything I see online says I have 2 antennas.
Hi @ooooooookate , Here’s a link that may be of some help. Although the information regarding divers being available from Dell is not correct anymore. If you go with this you may have to let Windows “find” the most up to date drivers after it is installed. Here’s a link to the service manual for the laptop, taken from this webpage. Scroll to p.45 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove / replace the wireless card.
