Hi, I have an Ikea whirlpool dishwasher. It had a free fall door because hinge string was broken which I replaced. Now, it starts when I keep the door pressed manually. It runs for sometime even if I stop pressing the door but stops after sometime. If I presss the door again then it starts again but stops after sometime if I stop pressing the door. I already open the door and checked all the wires and everything is connected. I also cleaned the area for clogging and anything stopping the close the door properly. Could it be door latch or something else need to be replaced? Thanks Vikas
it sounds like the latch is not working like it should , when you close it the latch on the shell not the door is not pushing in the switch to turn it on , check it out ans it should have an adjustment , screws or a screw to adjust let me know
