Chosen Solution
After replacing the battery, when I got everything together I found a giant white column in the middle of my screen. I have checked the connectors and all of the pins look fine is there anything else I could try.
More than likely you received a bad part. White lines are indicative of a bad panel which should be covered by your screen supplier as long as there is no physical damage.
