Hi dear community! I have just noticed this strange whitish bar, only really visible in black setups like movies (at max backlit) on this mid 2010 macbook that I have just got. It is not bothersome at all as it is but I am wondering if it is a sign of something more serious that will expand over time. I do not mind if it stays as it is. I have done already a safe mode check (still visible). Please let me know if you have an idea! I may need to give the MB back quickly if the problem needs a screen replacement. Thanks!

That has something to do with the lcd itself. To narrow your problem down has the macbook ever been dropped before?
