My IPhone 6 Plus touch screen is displaying white lines on the right hand side but screen is working fine. Could you please tell me what’s causing this issue and how to fix it. Here is the pic https://ibb.co/nJ5KBx
Most likely the LCD is damaged, usually by dropping it or knocking it hard..maybe with keys in your pocket etc. Most of the time the only way to fix it would be a screen replacement
Well the screenshot doesn’t show anything, so it appears that your phone is rendering the contents of the screen properly. iPhones don’t usually seem to end up having issues with the gpu, so you’re probably solid on that. I am assuming it is most likely a problem with the LCD panel itself, or a problem with the ribbon cable that connects the display to the main board. If you get those two things checked out, you will probably be good to go.
There could be an issue with connection between the cables that connect the screen to the phone. First power the phone off. Unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the phone using a pentalobe screw driver then pry the screen up from the bottom to the top. Then take a phillips head screwdriver and unscrew the five screws and remove the metal plate. Then take a plastic spudger tool and push up the cables. Take the cables and place them back on the connectors. Replace the metal plate and screw it back into place. then power the phone on and if the lines have not gone away then there is probably a problem with the LCD. To fix this you will need to replace the entire screen and LCD.
