I had an iPhone 5 that was working properly, but I dropped and it cracked the display and started to show white lines on the display (
) so I replaced the display and it still show the lines (
) so I tested the new display on another board and it works normally (
), what could it be the issue? when the screen first light up you can’t see nothing on the display, just white, but if you wait a bit it starts to get better, but the lines still visible.
It’s most likely a bad lcd connector on the logicboard. It will need to be replaced by a professional micro-solderer
