After replacing the screen for my iPhone, i noticed a white rectangle in the center of the screen every time i opened the music app. This white rectangle can only be seen in the music app and nowhere else.
Does anyone know whats causing this? Grayscale image added to better visualize the darker rectangle
That looks more like a LCD error. Of course you always want to make sure that all connections are properly seated. If that does not fix it , you can either replace the display or just learn to accept it since it is only really visible in your music app.
I don’t see exactly what you’re talking about in the picture but it sounds like the lcd connector might not be seated correctly. You don’t have to completely disassemble the phone again but take that metal shield off from over the lcd and digitizer connectors and disconnect and reconnect them and see if that fixes your problem. Make sure there is no debris in that connector.
