Hello guys. I have a Macbook pro 13” late 2011 which has gone bonkers. It starts, it chimes, white screen, then black screen “no bootable device - insert boot disk”. Now here’s the strange part: I press the power button, it turns off and then it will not boot again unless I unplug and plug the battery back in. In that case, I don’t even need to press the power button - after plugging in the battery, it will power on by itself. Needless to say, it doesnt respond to any commands in the keyboard: ALT, CMMD+R, Resetting SMC or NVRAM. nothing. Anything keyboard related doesn’t work. Also tried plugging in a usb keyboard. No luck. Side note: Have taken to an apple service and they said it’s something about the logic board and it has liquid damage. However, I am the only owner since 2011 and no liquid has gone near it. Any insights? I count on you, experts!
