When I start up my laptop there is a screen with white lines and several black lines. I used to pick at the screen border thing away from the back? Sorry, I’m incredibly bad at explaining, but I hope that helps you solve my problem. Also, when I press hard on the screen with my two thumbs near the middle, the screen works? Greatly appreciated if someone replied ASAP!
Jen, sounds like you have some issues with the board connectors and TABs. You will have to disassemble your computer, remove the LCD and take a look at the wiring/connector. Anything above that will require some good working knowledge of the circuitry. I suggest to consider replacing the LCD. Hope this helps, good luck.
