when I turn on the 32LG70-UA TV, it is no image at all, white screen with band of colorful vertical lines.

Right now, going by your description alone it could b a cabling issue as well as a bad T-Con board. Remove the back of your TV after you unplug it and heck the wiring as well as your boards for any obviously damaged component.
