So I started mowing the lawn and it seemed a little rough mowing for about 10 minutes in and it shut off. I looked at the blades to see if there was any clump, not much and seemed rough still after I turned it back om and it seemed like the oil was low so I put more in but I wonder if I overfilled it. White smoke is coming out now, if I leave it on long enough will it go away?
You’r burning oil. When you looked at the blades did you turn the machine on its side? If so clean the air filter. You can also refer to the user manual and drain the oil and refill it to the correct amount.
mayer is correct, you can clean air filter and yes it will go away.
How do I clean the air filter? It clearly has dirty oil in it (the engine has about 4 hours on it).
