I changed my oil, and I drained all of the oil out. I followed the instructions for the amount of oil, and it appears that I had too much oil. i drained the oil, changed spark plug, fuel filter, and the carburetor. The riding lawnmower still has white smoke. Should I run it for awhile to see if the smoke will clear? Is something wrong with the engine sense I had too much oil? Please advise any suggestions.
Yes as you mentioned it had to much oil. In my experience it does take a while for it to burn off. May be worth repeating your steps if it keeps up for to long. I hope this helps!
