Samsung Galaxy A70 I have noticed a thin white vertical line that appears near the left edge of the screen. It appears, flickers a bit sometimes, and then goes away on random occasions. Looking up similar problems, it usually comes with some malfunction but there is no malfunction I can see. A quick ask on reddit has told me that it is a “hardware problem with a loose wire in the display connector “ which fixes itself after a while.
David M-W could be a bad display or a bad display connector. Use something like this video to replace the display and while you are doing that, check the connector carefully for any damage. Of course you can also leave it for now and see what develops down the road.
