That’s most likely an issue with the screen. First try reseating the LCD connector. While doing so, check for bent pins. on the board and the new display cable. You’ll find the connector under the first shield you remove during repair by the battery connector. If that doesn’t fix it, try your old display if you can. If the issue goes away, you have a parts issue. If not, most likely a board issue which can be repaired by a skilled technician in microsoldering.
