Chosen Solution
So I have my iPhone 6s that I’ve had since 2016 and it still serves me very well except for the fact that it’s limited to 16 GB of space. I’ve looked at options on how to solve this and I have seen a few videos of technicians removing the NAND flash chips from the phone, reprogramming it to another chip with 128 GB with a reprogramming device. The only problem is that those devices can go for $300+ and unless I have an influx of demand from others to do this kind of work, I can’t justify buying it myself. So my question is does anyone know someone that offers such a service? Keep in mind that I live in New England. So I won’t ship my phone further than the state I live in (Massachusetts).
Although the service does exist, it would probably be more cost effective to just buy a used 6s with 128GB of storage.
