I’m trying to get a battery for my macbook pro, I’m not on US though and so it cannot be shipped. I see a bunch of batteries from other sources and I’m not sure how to tell if a battery is good or not. Does anyone knows who’s the supplier of the batteries sold at iFixIt, so I can try to get one from sellers who ship to my country?
Because iFixit makes a profit off of sourcing and marking up their OEM parts, I doubt they will share their supplier of batteries. However, you can read about iFixit’s battery testing here. iFixit has a European store which I believe will ship you a battery if you are in the EU. The part you are looking for can be found here.
My MacBook Pro 2015 was refurbed in 2018 so haven’t had to try this fortunately but for my 17” 09 model I found all the sellers in Europe ship much smaller batteries than Apple spec instead I ordered from ferising on aliexpress and batteries fine.
