I Installed one of your new SSD 1 Terabyte hard drives in my 2009 MacBook Pro and I’m getting flashing question mark when trying to start up. This happens weather I start holding the “command “ and “R” keys or just trying to start up normally. I also replaced the hard drive Data cable and still the same issue. So I’m thinking you guys sold me a defective hard drive. Also when I hook up my old hard drive it starts up fine. How do I go about returning this faulty hard drive? Nate.
Did you install Mac OS onto it? Any new hard drive is a blank slate and needs a operating system installed on it to boot from it.
