I always press the button on the bottom of my phone to erase previous actions like texting, twitter, emails, etc. So they won’t keep running and save data. This time I got a message saying “unfortunately system ui has stopped. " I haven’t downloaded anything new or done anything different. Can you help me. It also removed my home screen picture.
This happened to me as well today. I was at the local library, using the wifi. I was uploading pics from my phone to Facebook. During this, I noticed my phone was doing an update. (Google “something”, I think.) I didn’t really pay attention to it. After a few minutes, I noticed it was done and cleared the notification for it. But as I tried to resume what I had previously been doing, I started getting that same message. I have read some about this today. I thought maybe since it happened during an update, that I could just uninstall the updates and it would be okay. Nope. I went into app settings >app manager >google play store, and doing the “uninstalling up dates” option. (Side note: went into Google play store settings and turned OFF automatic updates.) Another thing I found, that people have said helped them was to clear the cashe partition. Tried. Still have the error. Would sure like to be able to get this figured out and fixed, too!
