Chosen Solution
For some reason after I got the most recent update or maybe even before it I sometimes wont receive text from my friends. They will screenshot their screens and send me the pictures of our conversation. Lo and behold they’ve sent them to me but I did not receive them.
Check to make sure the Message Number under Message Settings/Text Messages is correct. Updates and new phones are when ive seen it most. Usually MMS Messages work fine because they are transmitted differently and dont use the Message Center i believe. Good luck
