Chosen Solution
Few weeks ago….some parts of my keyboard suddenly stopped working while the other parts are.. What could have caused it and what’s the solution?
@boluwatife sounds like a bad keyboard. Any one of the traces may have failed as well as some of the keyboard specific IC’s etc. Even a bad ribbon cable can be the cause of this. I’d suggest to replace the keyboard. In the meantime you can of course use a USB keyboard to at least get some use out of your laptop. If you let us know the exact model for your Acer laptop we can possibly help you further.
