Chosen Solution
My MacBook was knocked off my bed and fell on the floor shut and when I opened it, there seemed to be a couple small colored lines vertical up my screen slightly flickering. Not only that, but the entire task bar has turned to lines and is flickering. Does anybody know whats causing this or what I have to do to fix it?
TsuMoxi the lines on a specific area like the ones on your display is a good indication that something broke or came loose on the circuit board that drives the pictures on the screen. Bottom line, you most likely need a new display. Of course having the proper model number will help us to guide you to a replacement screen and the proper repair guide for it.
