I accidentally slammed my phone on a wood table because I was mad at my parents (bratty Ik) and now when my screen is dark there are colorful (greenish) lines going up and down my screen.. any tips? I have already tried hitting the back again and resetting it… and I can’t go to an Apple store because the nearest one is 2 hours away
Well Alison, this might be because the pressure of the slam could have affected the layers inside of the phone. One of the layers consists of the things that keep the screen glowing. you could have permanently broken the phone. But don’t worry. The 2 hour drive to the apple store is worth it because they know how to fix it. So do I. I’m not sure if I could tell you because I don’t want you risking permanently destroying your phone..
Alison Gates considering what happened to the phone and that you now have “colorful (greenish) lines going up and down my screen” leads me to believe that you have broken display assembly. There is no fixing it, only a replacing. I’ve had the same problem. the cause of the slam is either anger issues over a game, you have a very bad tantrum, or getting mad because a friend is better at your favorite game. the slam can be so hard the screen malfunctions and breaks you privilege to tap anything on the screen.
