I have a samsung 55 inch UN55ES6829 When i turned on my television the whole screen has these grey lines covering them , the sound still goes through perfectly fine, i just wanted to know if it was the main board or the T-Con.
@sinnclaire could be a T-con issue but there may be more to that. It appears as if you are also having vertical stripes. Those lead me to believe that this could be a panel issue as well. you will have to take the back of your TV and take a good look at the boards and the wiring. Make sure that everything is seated properly etc. Check the boards for obvious damage. Post some good pictures with your question so that we can see what you see.
