Why Can I Find A Replacement Glass For Macbook Pro But Not Air Macbook Air 13 Late 2010

I have searched all over the internet to purchase replacement glass for a 13” Air. Several inexpensive results come up for Pro replacements but the Air results are sparse. Those results that do come up are far more expensive then the Pro results; what gives?

Very simple! The Airs don’t have a cover glass unlike the MacBook Pro’s. Here’s the breakdowns of the two different displays: Older Unibody: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 LCD Replacement Air’s & Retina models: MacBook Pro Retina Display Teardown As we can see the newer designs use a single plate design where the older use a cover glass.
