Chosen Solution
I bought a new battery for my Macbook Air and I have already changed it. It came 50% charged and it was working fine but the thing is I could not charge the new battery and every time I tried and plugged / connected my MBA with charger there came no light (green or yellow) and the screen went black and slowly the new battery came empty. Every time then I disconnected the MBA again from the charger it went to normal! I have tried many things, disconnecting the new battery and cleaning some things but nothing worked. Du you have a solution or any idea what might be going on? Hopefully you understand my problem! :-)
If the MagSafe charger LED is not lighting up and you are sure you have a good charger, that leaves only two parts the I/O board and the main logic board. I would first make sure you have a good charger first make sure you have a REAL Apple unit!
